The Detail
What you get with a vip service
- The haircut. Whatever you'd normally get — skin fade, taper, scissor cut — done to the same standard as any chair in the shop.
- Hot towel service. Steamed towels over the face to open the pores and soften the beard before the razor work. This is what makes the line-up feel like nothing at all.
- Cream facial. Cleansing cream worked in and taken off with the towel. Twenty minutes of this and you look like you slept properly for once.
- Beard trim and line up. Shaped, razored, and blended into the fade at the sideburn.
- Where it fits: it's the pre-wedding cut, the pre-interview cut, the birthday cut. Book it rather than walking in — it needs a longer slot than a standard chair.
